Leeds United have signed Wales international Harry Wilson on a free transfer, handing the winger a four-year deal and a pay rise after his Fulham contract expired.
The Athletic reported in June that Leeds had reached an agreement to make Wilson their first addition of the summer.
Leeds pushed hard in 2025 and tried again on deadline day last summer, but the move collapsed when the deal sheet was not completed before the seven p.m. cut-off. Each club offered a different account of responsibility and of whether Wilson was available.
Wilson was a key figure for Marco Silva’s side last season, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists in 36 Premier League matches, including late winners against Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion. He was named Fulham’s player of the season for 2025-26.
Silva has since left to replace Jose Mourinho at Benfica. In January he said Fulham had to do the maximum to keep Wilson beyond the end of his deal.
Across five years at Fulham, Wilson delivered 36 goals and 46 assists in 187 appearances, having first arrived from Liverpool in July 2021 before making the move permanent in 2022.
He spent 16 years with Liverpool after joining aged eight, made more than 60 under-21 appearances and played twice for the first team, with loans at six clubs.
Leeds, who finished 14th last season, are preparing for another Premier League campaign after preserving their top-flight status for the first time since 2021-22.
