Leeds United have announced matchday parking changes for next season as Elland Road’s redevelopment continues. The project aims to lift capacity to 53,000 by late 2030. Early work has focused on the West Stand, with floodlights already removed, and activity is expected to remain visible throughout 2026/27.
The Fullerton Car Park will be closed, and off-site parking has been secured instead. The club said in a statement that the process will be digitised to speed entry and cut congestion, with advance booking required and no pay on the day at council car parks, with spaces sold via the club’s online ticketing platform.
Following discussions with Leeds City Council, the club will manage and operate the council-run car parks around the ground on matchdays. The new arrangements form part of a wider travel plan designed to stop queues backing from car parks onto the public highway and to ease overall congestion.
The system will apply for the Elland Road friendlies against RB Leipzig on Saturday August eight and FC Augsburg on August 15.
Leeds’ first home Premier League match is against Brentford on Sunday August 30, the same weekend as Leeds Festival. Further updates on parking and other changes will follow during the season, and supporters have been thanked for their patience while works continue.
