Leeds United confirm Morrie Eisenberg to leave Elland Road for San Diego Wave | OneFootball

Leeds United confirmed that chief business officer Morrie Eisenberg will depart in August to become CEO of San Diego Wave in the National Women's Soccer League.

Eisenberg joined Elland Road in October 2023 and has overseen areas including input into the stadium redevelopment, commercial revenue streams and business operations.

Managing director Robbie Evans expressed disappointment at his departure but hailed his impact, noting the club’s trajectory and highlighting his tireless work on the Elland Road expansion, which he believes will benefit the club, supporters and the wider community for generations.

Eisenberg called it a privilege to work at Leeds across three seasons and pointed to positive strides towards becoming an established Premier League side. He thanked staff, the people of Yorkshire, the club’s global fans and ownership for their support.

Evans passed on the club’s best wishes to Eisenberg and his family, adding he would be welcome back should he ever miss the Yorkshire weather.
