Leeds United are set to take a vast support to Wembley for their first FA Cup semi-final in 39 years, with recent allocations suggesting a mid-30,000 ticket share.

According to The Mirror, police are on high alert for Leeds against Chelsea due to historic rivalry, and Leeds are expecting about 32,000 tickets. Neither club has released official details, and the tie will fall on the weekend of April 25/26.

Daniel Farke’s side reached the last four with a 4-2 shootout win at West Ham on Sunday. Leeds led 2-0 in stoppage time, conceded twice late on, and extra time brought no further goals.

Wembley’s capacity is 90,000, but it will not be split 45,000 each. Club Wembley commitments, commercial partners and segregation reduce the general allocations.

For the 2023/24 Championship play-off final defeat to Southampton, Leeds were initially given 35,796, with extra restricted-view seats later. Last season’s FA Cup semi-finalists received between 34,000 and just over 36,000, though Manchester City only took 27,000.

In 2024, Coventry City, Chelsea, Manchester United and City were believed to have around 34,000 each initially. Fixture changes mean Leeds visit Bournemouth on Wednesday, April 22 at 8pm on Sky Sports, while Chelsea go to Brighton at 8pm on Tuesday, April 21.
