Leeds United host RB Leipzig at Elland Road on Saturday, their first home outing in almost 12 weeks, with one confirmed absentee and four doubts after Gabriel Gudmundsson’s weekend setback.
They are mid-way through pre-season, having beaten Sunderland and Liverpool in America after losing to Wrexham. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Ilia Gruev remains out, while Lucas Perri, Jaka Bijol, Gudmundsson and Noah Okafor are doubtful for Saturday.
On Sunday, Leeds came from 2-0 down at half-time to beat Liverpool 4-2, with two first-team regulars registering their first minutes of the summer.
Gudmundsson was forced off against Liverpool with what appeared to be a hamstring issue. He said he felt something in that area and will be assessed at Thorp Arch this week, with Daniel Farke hoping it proves minor.
Perri missed the final two games in the United States due to a minor problem and only played 45 minutes against Wrexham. He stayed with the group and is seemingly close to a Torino loan if James Trafford completes a permanent move to Elland Road.
Bijol did not feature on tour because of a minor knock. He is progressing and could be back in team training soon, although Saturday is likely too soon.
Brenden Aaronson returned with a goal and an assist off the bench on Sunday, his first minutes since the World Cup, and a first summer start could follow. Okafor, handed an extended post World Cup break, is due back in training this week, but it remains to be seen whether Saturday comes too soon.
Leeds have two further friendlies after Leipzig, so there is no need to rush any returns.
