TeamTalk reports that Leeds United are among the clubs interested in Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham this summer.

Abraham joined Villa in January in a £18.2m deal and has largely featured behind Ollie Watkins, raising doubts over his near-term prospects.

At Elland Road, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has stayed available all season and scored 15 goals, yet Premier League sides rarely thrive with only one trusted centre-forward. Lukas Nmecha has provided back-up, while Joel Piroe has struggled for opportunities.

Abraham looks tailored to Daniel Farke’s approach, a physical forward ready to press, run the channels and occupy defenders. He offers a slightly different presence to Calvert-Lewin while fitting the same profile, so he could strengthen the system and raise competition. Playing time may be decisive and, if Piroe goes, he would have a realistic chance to compete with Calvert-Lewin for minutes.

A possible Noah Okafor reunion would be an added bonus. Abraham previously played alongside Okafor at AC Milan across nine matches and has praised the Swiss forward’s mentality. Relationships do not seal transfers, but they can speed up settling if Villa listen to offers.
