Leeds United’s relegation picture has shifted after their FA Cup semi-final defeat and wins for Tottenham, West Ham and Nottingham Forest, with bookmakers updating odds and their predicted final table, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.

Leeds paused league matters with a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth on Wednesday, leaving Daniel Farke’s side nine points clear of the drop with four matches remaining. That result left them nine ahead of third-bottom Tottenham, seven clear of fourth-bottom West Ham and four above fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest, but having played a game more than all three.

As Leeds faced Chelsea in the semi-final, all three rivals collected three points, Forest also significantly improving their goal difference.

Forest opened the weekend by thrashing Sunderland 5-0 on Friday night, cutting the gap to one point.

On Saturday, late goals secured wins for Spurs and West Ham, Spurs winning 1-0 at already relegated Wolves and Callum Wilson striking in the 92nd minute as the Hammers beat Everton 2-1.

West Ham’s victory keeps Tottenham in the bottom three but only two points behind the Hammers, five behind Forest and six adrift of Leeds, with all three now having four games left.

Leeds still visit Tottenham and West Ham, the latter on the final day, and their rivals’ results have driven the odds shift. The bookmakers’ updated table arrives before Friday night’s visit of already relegated Burnley.
