Leeds United avoided the heavyweights in the FA Cup quarter-final draw, but will be away for their first last-eight tie in 23 years.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, they will visit either West Ham or Brentford, the draw conducted by Joe Cole and Joe Hart before Monday night’s final tie. Leeds, ball number four, dodged Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.
They earned their place by beating Championship visitors Norwich City 3-0 on Sunday, despite Daniel Farke making nine changes. Sean Longstaff, Gabi Gudmundsson and Joel Piroe scored.
That result made Leeds the fifth Premier League club through, alongside Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City. The draw also featured one Championship side and one from League One, with Southampton winning 1-0 at Fulham and Port Vale upsetting Sunderland 1-0.
One giant will fall as Manchester City host Liverpool at the Etihad. Arsenal travel to Southampton, while Port Vale head to Chelsea. The quarter-finals are scheduled around the weekend of Saturday, April the fourth.
