Leeds United are set to decide the next step for 17-year-old England youth striker Harry Gray amid League One interest. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday want the forward on loan, and another spell away is likely with the destination still to be settled.
Gray, the younger brother of Tottenham’s former Leeds player Archie, broke into the first-team picture last year and made his senior debut as a late substitute in April’s 6-0 win over Championship visitors Stoke City at Elland Road.
He then travelled with the senior squad to Germany for pre-season before the club’s Premier League return, later making the bench for the league match at Wolves and the EFL Cup tie at Sheffield Wednesday.
For first-team experience, Gray joined Rotherham United on loan in January for the remainder of the campaign, making 20 appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist across 1767 minutes.
Leeds must now weigh whether to sanction another loan for the forthcoming season, with the precise destination yet to be decided.
