Leeds United are turning to a second season back in the Premier League after staying up with three games to spare, finishing 14th and eight points clear despite a final-day 3-0 defeat at relegated West Ham.

Two weeks on from the end of 2025-26, a busy summer beckons with four Leeds players at the 2026 World Cup. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, these are the key dates.

The World Cup starts on Thursday, June 11, with Mexico v South Africa at 8pm. Noah Okafor is the first Leeds player in action on Saturday, June 13 as Switzerland face Qatar at 8pm. Brenden Aaronson, Gabi Gudmundsson and Ao Tanaka are also involved for USA, Sweden and Japan.

The summer transfer window opens on Wednesday, June 14. Premier League fixtures are released on Friday, June 19 at 10am.

The World Cup final takes place on Sunday, July 19.

Leeds begin pre-season in America on Sunday, July 25 against Wrexham at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. A second friendly follows on Friday, July 30 against Sunderland at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
