The Leeds United Supporters’ Trust has criticised the ongoing lack of a confirmed date for Leeds United’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. The Wembley tie is slated for the weekend of 25 April, little more than two weeks away.

The Trust said in a statement that it had contacted Leeds United and the Football Supporters’ Association to understand the delay, adding that the club remain in the dark while governing bodies, police and the broadcaster reach a final decision. It described the situation as not acceptable and said thousands of fans were in limbo four days on from the draw.

More than 30,000 tickets are expected for Leeds fans. Many will need to book travel and accommodation for the club’s first FA Cup semi-final in 39 years, yet key details have not been released.

Supporters are meanwhile planning travel for a rearranged midweek trip to Bournemouth on Wednesday, 22 April, before the Wembley weekend. Leeds have also not been told which day they will face Chelsea.

Of the semi-finalists, Leeds face the longest journey to Wembley. The 2026 London Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, 26 April, a consideration for policing, and Leeds have played on a Sunday in every FA Cup round this season.
