Leeds United have seven matches to secure Premier League safety, and an analysis compares which relegation rivals face the toughest or softest run-ins, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.

Daniel Farke’s side have gone four games without a goal, though two finished 0-0, and they are four points above the drop after 31 fixtures.

Leeds are four points clear of third-bottom West Ham, three ahead of fourth-bottom Tottenham Hotspur and one in front of fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest. There is a six-point jump to 14th-placed Crystal Palace, who sit on 39 points, three behind both Newcastle United and Bournemouth on 42.

Bookmakers already view bottom two Wolves and Burnley as near certainties for relegation, with Burnley nine points behind West Ham and Wolves 12 adrift.

The ranking uses the average league position of each club’s remaining opponents to grade run-ins from hardest to easiest. By that measure, Crystal Palace face the toughest run-in, with an average opponent position of ninth, 9.14.

Nottingham Forest and Burnley share the next most difficult schedule, both averaging 10th, 9.71. Tottenham Hotspur are next on 11th, 10.57, while West Ham United have the third easiest on 11th, 11.0, and Wolves the second easiest on 14th, 14.14.
