Largie Ramazani is edging closer to a permanent exit from Elland Road, with Leeds United reportedly placing a £10m price tag on the Belgian winger ahead of the summer transfer window. The 25-year-old joined the club from Almeria in 2024 but never truly found his footing under Daniel Farke, spending last season largely as a fringe option before being shipped out on loan to Valencia. According to Tribuna Deportiva, Valencia are open to his return, though only on financially favourable terms, an option that complicates the situation considerably, given the Spanish club’s well-documented financial struggles.

Leeds United face a clear-cut Ramazani decision this summer

Ramazani has six goals and three assists across 26 appearances for Valencia this season, with all of those contributions coming in 2026 alone. After spending much of the first half of the campaign on the bench, he has started each of Valencia’s last 11 league games and scored five times during that run, which represents a genuine upturn in form that has caught the attention of clubs beyond Spain.

Football Insider confirmed that Leeds United have no long-term plans for Ramazani and will look to cash in permanently if offers arrive, with Farke having no intention of reintegrating him into the first team. Meanwhile, Football Insider also reports that Wilfried Gnonto wants to leave Leeds this summer after limited game time in the 2025-26 season, meaning the club could simultaneously lose two wide options.

What should Leeds United do? The right call for Farke:

Leeds United must not undersell a player, finally finding his level. A permanent sale would arguably suit both parties, giving Leeds United a decent fee for a player who has no future at Elland Road, while also giving Ramazani a genuine fresh start. The logic behind selling is straightforward enough, but the terms matter enormously. Valencia are unlikely to meet Leeds’ full demands given their ongoing financial difficulties, which means Leeds United may need to make concessions to push the deal through.

Farke should resist that temptation firmly. Ramazani, at 25 and with six LaLiga goals in half a season, is demonstrably a top-flight footballer who was simply not used correctly in Yorkshire. Accepting anything below £10 million would be poor business from a Leeds United side that need every pound to strengthen a squad competing in the Premier League.

With no buy option written into the loan, Valencia must negotiate from scratch, and Leeds United hold all the control here. Hold the line, take the fee, and reinvest wisely; that is the only sensible path forward for Leeds United this window.
