Leeds United’s 2025 intake has been graded after a 14th-placed Premier League finish, with two A+ and one disappointing D.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke added 10 first-team signings last summer, most becoming regulars while a few have found it harder.

Lucas Perri was marked D. Excitement faded as his distribution faltered and big saves never arrived. Dropped after two January errors, he is now understudy to Karl Darlow.

James Justin earned B. A quiet start gave way to an excellent 2026, starting every Premier League match across roles. He missed an A only due to that slow opening.

Jaka Bijol received A. His league bow came in late October, then a shift to a back three suited him. Dominant centrally and tidy on the ball, and Farke later praised his leadership.

Sebastiaan Bornauw was graded C. Signed to provide cover, he did so capably without dislodging the preferred options. Leeds were unbeaten in his five Premier League starts, the fewest of the summer 2025 arrivals.

Gabriel Gudmundsson took A. Left-back had long been an issue but he settled fastest of the overseas arrivals and logged the most minutes, constantly raiding down the flank. No goals or assists, despite plenty of intent.

Anton Stach claimed A+. He was in player-of-the-season territory for many, with five goals and three assists underscoring a blend of physicality and technique. His character stood out too.

Leeds look set for another busy summer, with attacking reinforcements likely to be the priority and extra depth welcomed across the squad.
