Leeds United’s first home match of the 2026/27 Premier League season is set for the August Bank Holiday weekend, as the city hosts thousands of revellers for Leeds Festival.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the fixtures for Daniel Farke’s second top-flight campaign were released this morning.

The season begins on August 22, when Farke’s side visit the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest.

Brentford are the opponents for the opening game at Elland Road on Saturday August 29, when day ticket holders will be heading to Bramham Park for the festival’s third day.

Broadcast selections have not yet been confirmed, so the fixture could move to Friday August 28, Sunday August 30 or Monday August 31.

Leeds Festival runs from Thursday August 27 to Monday August 31, and significant traffic delays, particularly on the A1(M) and A64, are expected across the weekend.
