Leeds United face another week without club action, with 10 senior internationals still away and one player set for a pivotal World Cup qualification decider on Tuesday night.

They signed off from their battle for Premier League survival with last weekend’s goalless draw at home to Brentford, leaving 14 days without a game during the March break. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, 13 were initially called up, Ilia Gruev withdrew for personal reasons and Dominic Calvert-Lewin has now left England’s trimmed camp ahead of Tuesday’s second March friendly at home to Japan.

Joel Piroe’s bid for a World Cup place with Suriname ended with last week’s defeat to Bolivia. Among the remaining call-ups, Anton Stach’s Germany face Ghana on Monday at 7.45pm, live on Amazon Prime PPV.

On Tuesday, Jaka Bijol is involved as Montenegro play Slovenia at 5pm, and Noah Okafor features as Norway face Switzerland at 5pm.

Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon and Karl Darlow are in the Wales squad for Tuesday’s friendly against Northern Ireland at 7.45pm, live on BBC Three, BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport Website, BBC One NI, BBC One Wales, S4C and S4C Online.

Youth internationals remain away too, including Jacob Howard with England under-17s, Luke Matykiewicz with Northern Ireland under-19s, Charlie Crew with Wales under-21s and Robbie Cook with Australia under-19s.
