Leeds United can now turn to a second Premier League campaign, with key summer dates arriving quickly before next season.

Daniel Farke’s side secured safety with three matches to spare, finishing 14th and eight points clear despite a final-day 3-0 defeat at relegated West Ham. The World Cup begins on 11 June, Mexico face South Africa at 8pm. Noah Okafor is the first Leeds player due in action on 13 June when Switzerland play Qatar at 8pm.

Brenden Aaronson, representing the USA, Gabi Gudmundsson for Sweden and Ao Tanaka for Japan are also involved. The summer transfer window opens on 14 June, and Premier League fixtures are released on 19 June at 10am.

The World Cup final falls on 19 July. Leeds then meet Wrexham on 25 July at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium in their first pre-season friendly.

A second friendly follows on 30 July, Leeds United vs Sunderland at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
