Leeds United’s season is over, but international duty now takes centre stage, with four players called up for the 2026 World Cup across the USA, Canada and Mexico and others set for friendlies.

Sweden’s Gudmundsson has Norway vs Sweden on June one and Sweden vs Greece on June four, before World Cup group fixtures Sweden vs Tunisia on June 15, Netherlands vs Sweden on June 20 and Japan vs Sweden on June 26.

Japan midfielder Ao Tanaka has Japan vs Iceland on May 31, then World Cup group matches Netherlands vs Japan on June 14, Tunisia vs Japan on June 21 and Japan vs Sweden on June 26.
