Leicester City have plotted a move for one of Wrexham's stars amid their efforts to enjoy a successful summer transfer window.
The Foxes are vying to win promotion from League One next season, having suffered consecutive relegations from the Premier League and the Championship.
Russell Martin was recently appointed as Leicester's boss and must restore his managerial reputation after a poor stint in charge of Scottish Premiership giants Rangers last season.
Martin previously led Southampton to the Premier League, and the Foxes are hoping that the 40-year-old can add another promotion to his CV while managing at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester learn their League One fixture list next week, but the Foxes have plenty of work to do in the transfer market before August arrives.
The King Power Stadium outfit released notable senior players following their relegation to the third tier, including Jordan Ayew, Ricardo Pereira, and Patson Daka.
Ayew, Pereira, and Daka were among the players who vastly underperformed for Leicester last term, prompting a once-unlikely relegation to League One.
The Foxes are now looking to build a squad that they believe is capable of winning promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking.
According to Alan Nixon on Patreon, Martin's side are ready to make a move for Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo if he is replaced as the Red Dragons' number one.
The 24-year-old maintained nine clean sheets in 39 Championship appearances last season, but Phil Parkinson's men narrowly missed out on a play-off spot.
Nixon's report added that Leicester could buy Okonkwo, but they are also open to a loan spell as they vie to win promotion from League One.
The Red Dragons are lining up a loan move or permanent deal for Sunderland's Anthony Patterson as Okonkwo's replacement, following the 26-year-old's loan spell with Millwall last term.
According to Nixon's Patreon post, the Black Cats could sell Patterson for between £8million and £10million, but a loan deal is preferred.
He helped the North East club win promotion from the Championship with a stellar 2024/25 season between the sticks, but fell out of favour when they signed Robin Roefs and Melker Ellborg last summer.

Leicester desperately need to turn the tide after suffering two consecutive relegations, and need to start moving in the right direction next season.
Enjoying a positive summer transfer window will help Martin establish the Foxes as one of the best sides in League One next season, but it won't be easy amid the presence of clubs like Sheffield Wednesday and Oxford United, who were also relegated from the Championship.
Signing Okonkwo would be a positive move for Leicester, as the former Arsenal man already has two promotions on his CV, thanks to his time with Wrexham.
Okonkwo helped the Red Dragons win automatic promotion from League Two in 2024, repeating that feat in League One 12 months later.
The 24-year-old maintained an impressive 19 clean sheets during the 2024/25 third-tier season, and emulating those performances in Foxes colours would surely help them return to the Championship.
