Leicester City head to Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon aiming to boost their Championship survival hopes.
The Foxes are fighting against a second successive relegation and remain in the Championship’s bottom three. However, Leicester are just a point from safety and will view a clash against already-relegated Sheffield Wednesday as a vital chance to get points on the board.
The home side have won once all season and are on minus six points, following multiple point deductions for financial and ownership issues.
Though Sheffield Wednesday are doomed, the battle to avoid joining them is tense. Just a point splits Oxford, Leicester and Portsmouth, who sit from 23rd to 21st.
Jordan James remains a doubt for the clash after picking up an issue with Wales during the international break. James, who is Leicester’s leading scorer, missed the 2-2 draw with Preston on Friday and will be assessed.
Abdul Fatawu has been a rare positive in a tough season and will take on added responsibility if James is unable to recover. The winger has nine goals and seven assists in the Championship this season.
Patson Daka scored both goals in that draw at Preston and should again lead the line. Elsewhere, Leicester remain without Victor Kristiansen, Harry Souttar and Aaron Ramsey, who are all long-term absentees.
Leicester predicted XI: Stolarczyk; Pereira, Okoli, Nelson, Thomas; Winks, Skipp; Fatawu, Mukasa, Mavididi; Daka.
The match will kick off at 3pm BST on Monday, 6th April.
