Leipzig ‘to seek’ €30-35m for Vermeeren as Beşiktaş explore loan | OneFootball

Fussballdaten.de reports that Arthur Vermeeren could leave RB Leipzig this summer, with the German club open to a departure.

After underwhelming spells at Atlético Madrid, Leipzig and a loan at Olympique Marseille, a move could give the 21-year-old Belgian a fresh chance at the top level in Europe.

He is contracted to Leipzig until 2029, but club planning and finances indicate keeping him is not a priority. The coaching staff rate his potential, yet feel his decision-making is not fully mature.

Leipzig would let him go if the overall package is right, seeking around €30-35 million.

Süper Lig side Beşiktaş have placed him at the top of their midfield shortlist to add creativity. The fee exceeds their current budget, so they are pursuing a loan with an option to buy.
