Lens agree Jeremy Agbonifo loan to Jagiellonia with €3m option | OneFootball

Lens have agreed to loan 20-year-old winger Jeremy Agbonifo to Jagiellonia Bialystok for one season, with a €3m option to buy, according to L'Équipe. He is understood to have been cleared to join the Polish club.

Agbonifo was not expected to feature in Lens’s plans for the coming season and is preparing to leave Pas-de-Calais again.

He spent last season on two successive loans, first at Basel in Switzerland from August to February, then at Häcken in Sweden from February to June.

Jagiellonia finished third in last season’s Polish league.

Under contract until June 2028, Agbonifo has made only eight competitive appearances for Lens. He originally joined from Häcken for €7.5m.
