Lens' Coupe de France win has reshaped France's European allocations, according to L'Équipe.
Already assured of the Champions League through second place in Ligue 1, Lens did not need the cup's Europa League ticket. The Sang et Or claimed the trophy for the first time in their history on Friday, beating Nice 3-1.
That spare place passes down to sixth, so Rennes will play in the Europa League.
The knock-on effect hands the Europa Conference League play-off to seventh, Monaco. L'ASM will have the chance to reach the league phase if they win a two-legged tie this summer against an opponent to be determined.
France's European entrants are now set. Champions League league phase: PSG, Lens, Lille. Champions League third qualifying round: OL. Europa League league phase: OM, Rennes. Europa Conference League play-offs: Monaco.
