Lens v PSG Trophée des Champions set for Bollaert after LFP coin toss | OneFootball

Stade Bollaert-Delelis will host the Trophée des Champions between Lens and PSG on Sunday 16 August at 20:45. According to L'Équipe, the LFP decided the venue by coin toss on Wednesday after its board meeting, with representatives of both clubs present following their failure to agree.

The decision hands Lens home backing as they seek to trouble PSG. The match will be broadcast on Ligue 1+.

Lens finished second in Ligue 1 this season and won the Coupe de France. They will face the two-time reigning European champions, whose start to the new campaign looks particularly busy.

Just days earlier, PSG will take part in the UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg on 12 August.

With the match being staged in France for health reasons, PSG avoid an extra trip abroad.
