Léo Pereira earns first Brazil call-up under Carlo Ancelotti | OneFootball

Léo Pereira has received his first Brazil call-up under Carlo Ancelotti, marking a milestone for the Flamengo centre-back, according to Coluna Do Fla.

Pereira has been among Flamengo’s standout performers in 2026. He scored in the 3-0 win over Botafogo at Nilton Santos on Saturday 14 March in the sixth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Ancelotti attended that fixture at Nilton Santos, watching Flamengo’s meeting with Botafogo. He saw Pereira deliver another strong display.

Brazil are scheduled to play friendlies on 26 and 31 March in the United States, facing France then Croatia as World Cup preparation.

The defender will not link up immediately and remains available to Flamengo. He will report only on 23 March, therefore he will be present at Maracanã against Remo on Thursday 19 March in the seventh round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
