Léo Pereira has explained the violin celebration after his free-kick against Botafogo on Saturday 15, a nod that has reignited speculation over a reunion with Karoline.
According to Coluna Do Fla, the Flamengo defender said in the mixed zone after the sixth round that the gesture referenced Bad Bunny’s track ‘Mônaco’, which opens with violins, and that he would later share it with the correct soundtrack.
Bad Bunny performed in São Paulo in late February. The pair were said to have been seen there together, in disguise, though neither confirmed attending. The celebration has been read as a tribute to the model.
If so, it would mark a second reconciliation. The couple first split in October 2025, then reunited two months later while vowing less exposure of their private lives. Followers later queried his absence from her videos and she said the second break came in January this year, calling the attempt a failed decider.
With little chance of Karoline being in the stands, Flamengo play the seventh round of the Brasileirão. They face Remo at the Maracanã from 20:00, Brasília time.
