L’Equipe’s piece today about one PSG star makes it pretty clear that he’s on his way out of the club.
They note that Bradley Barcola is “one of the most pressing issues” that the club want to solve now that the season is over. He has two years left on his contract, but talks over a new deal have “stalled ” as he pushes to move on.
It seems the club would like to keep him, but won’t stand in his way if he wants to go. The 23 year old wants to play more, and the club understand that.
There won’t be any shortage of interest if PSG do make Barcola available. Arsenal and Liverpool have been mentioned, and Chelsea would also like a new wide attacker.
The 23 year old may not be able to break into Luis Enrique’s starting front three in the biggest games, but he’s still one of the most promising young attackers in Europe, and most teams across the continent would consider him a key player.
Barcola was the team’s top league scorer last season, but that’s more a quirk of the team’s rotation policy than anything else.
Kang-in Lee is closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid, with personal terms reportedly agreed between the winger and the Spanish club.
