Levante president assures ‘there will be a way to stop’ Barcelona star | OneFootball

Levante president Pablo Sánchez has moved to reassure the club’s supporters regarding the potential impact of Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal on proceedings in Valencia later this evening.

Barcelona, of course, are primed to return to action at the Estadi Ciutat de València in short order.

After making short work of RCD Mallorca in the opening fixture of the defence of their La Liga title, next up comes a meeting with newly-promoted Levante.

Expected to feature from the off on Saturday is the aforementioned Lamine Yamal, fresh off a starring performance at Son Moix on opening day.

During an appearance in front of the media in the hours leading up to kick-off, Levante president Pablo Sánchez was therefore asked about the tall task awaiting his side in keeping tabs on the 18-year-old.

And the Spanish patron, in quotes relaid by Mundo Deportivo, appeared confident in his response:

“Lamine is very difficult to stop, but I’m sure there will be a way to stop him.”
