Leverkusen ‘on verge of signing’ Miguel Gutiérrez from Napoli | OneFootball

BILD reports that Bayer Leverkusen are on the verge of signing Miguel Gutiérrez from Napoli.

The Bundesliga side are assessing several options to replace Alejandro Grimaldo after his move to Atlético Madrid.

There have also been reports of positive talks with Marseille for Argentine defender Facundo Medina. Die Werkself could now end that search if Gutiérrez arrives.

The fee is reported in the €25-30 million range. Gutiérrez joined Napoli from Girona for €18 million last summer.

The 25-year-old, a former Spain youth international, made 28 Serie A appearances last season and featured five times in the Champions League league phase.
