Leverkusen reach full agreement to sign Hoffenheim youngster | OneFootball

Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly set to sign Luca Erlein from TSG Hoffenheim.

According to Sky Germany, the two clubs have agreed a deal worth €2 million plus bonuses, with Hoffenheim also securing a 15 percent sell-on clause.

The report further claims that Leverkusen’s plan is to immediately send the 19-year-old right-back out on loan to a club in the 2. Bundesliga, with his destination yet to be decided.

Erlein has made one appearance for Hoffenheim’s first team. Last season, he provided five assists in 31 appearances for the club’s reserves in the 3. Liga.

The defender is also a German U19 international, having featured 12 times for the national team at that level.
