Leverkusen said to be interested in Burkardt | OneFootball

Bayer Leverkusen have Mainz striker Jonathan Burkadt on their radar, according to Sport Bild.

The 24-year-old could replace Victor Boniface, who is expected to leave the German champions at the end of the season.

Burkardt has been in excellent form for Mainz this season, scoring 15 goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances.

He made his senior international debut for Germany in October.

In addition to Burkardt, Leverkusen are also believed to be interested in Olympique Lyon's Rayan Cherki and Hertha BSC's Ibrahim Maza as they look to bolster their attacking options.
