Leverkusen ‘to sign’ Aleksa Damjanovic from Red Star | OneFootball

Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on Red Star Belgrade prospect Aleksa Damjanovic, with an agreement in place for the 17-year-old, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The fee is around €five million, potentially rising to €eight million with bonuses, and Red Star will also secure a sell-on clause.

Leverkusen are said to have beaten competition from Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim.

The centre forward is an U-19 Serbia international and has already made seven league appearances for Red Star.

Meridian Sport Srbija reports he is due in Leverkusen for a medical tomorrow, Thursday 12 February.
