LFP Media still seeking chief executive after Nicolas de Tavernost exit | OneFootball

LFP Media, the league’s commercial arm, remains without a chief executive following the now-effective departure of Nicolas de Tavernost, who is chairman of the board at Stade Rennais.

According to L'Équipe, LFP president Vincent Labrune said the process is ongoing and that the organisation hopes to have found a successor by the end of June.

Speaking in Ajaccio at the French Football Federation’s executive committee and general assembly, he stressed that nothing is finalised and there is no urgency.

He said the league is consulting widely and, with the clubs and CVC, is meeting candidates on the shortlist.

Labrune added that uncertainty around a long-debated piece of legislation could affect the desired profile and is also slowing the search.
