According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves’ latest defeat to Spurs brought mixed verdicts, with Santi Bueno standing out at the back while several attackers struggled.
Jose Sa mixed errant distribution with crucial interventions, producing six saves to keep his side in it.
Pedro Lima was quiet before the interval but returned with greater intent and linked a few promising moves. Matt Doherty read play well for interceptions, yet was exposed down his flank. Hugo Bueno provided an outlet, though his decision making on the ball was inconsistent.
Santi Bueno was the most assured defender, handling Solanke and Richarlison and repeatedly winning his duels. Toti Gomes endured a poor start, loose in possession and switching off, but he settled as the match progressed.
In midfield, Andre delivered a battling display despite the odd stray pass. Joao Gomes showed flashes of quality on the dribble and played on the edge throughout.
Teenager Mateus Mane had brief moments without real influence, often surrendering possession and failing to reach dangerous areas. Rodrigo Gomes, used higher up, was largely anonymous before being withdrawn. Adam Armstrong worked and ran smartly but was rarely found, leaving him isolated.
Substitutes: Tolu Arokodare (for R.Gomes, 71) rated five, Jackson Tchatchoua (for Lima, 85), Hwang Hee-chan (for Doherty, 85), David Moller Wolfe (for H.Bueno, 94). Subs not used: Bentley, Olagunju, A.Gomes, Bellegarde, Edozie.
