The Blues welcome Pep Guardiola’s men to Stamford Bridge on Sunday in what is a huge game for both sides for vastly different reasons.
Chelsea desperately need the points as they look to qualify for the Champions League, with the Blues currently sixth, a point behind Liverpool in fifth.
Rosenior has confirmed Chelsea are still without both Trevoh Chalobah and Reece James, whilst Enzo Fernandez will serve the final game of his suspension.
Caicedo is expected to captain the side, and will have key role to play if Chelsea are going to pull off what would be seen as a shock result.
Paul Merson believes the game will be a draw, and Rosenior heaped praise on Caicedo ahead of what will be his 100th Premier League appearance.
“For me, he’s one of the best defensive midfield players, if not the best defensive midfield player in world football, because of his intelligence, his physicality, his technical quality, how he understands the game,” he told his pre-match press conference.
“He’s going to be huge for us on Sunday.”

Villa are said to want at least £80m for Rogers, and it’ll be interesting to see if a bidding war commences for the attacker.
Chelsea are thought to be open to targeting players with proven Premier League experience, but it’s unclear if they’ll make a move for Rogers.
