In a Ligue 1 that churns through coaches, only Luis Enrique and Didier Digard have completed two full seasons with the same club and remain in post. Enrique is set for a fourth campaign with Paris Saint-Germain and holds the longest current tenure with 102 league games.

According to L'Équipe, the Spaniard was appointed on 5 July 2023 on a two-year deal to replace Christophe Galtier. Backed by the hierarchy, he imposed a clear style and delivered PSG’s first two Champions Leagues.

Even before that European double, Nasser al-Khelaïfi hailed him on 22 January 2025 after a league-phase comeback against Manchester City, 0-2 to 4-2. His extension, signed in October 2024 and made official on 7 February 2025, took him to 2027, and a further agreement to 2030 has since been reached but not yet announced.

Digard is the next longest-serving. On 23 February 2025 Le Havre sat second-bottom, he was jeered after a 1-4 defeat to Toulouse, yet with board support he turned results and secured back-to-back survivals.

Named on 1 July 2024, the former Nice interim signed a two-year deal with an extra year if Europe. Europe did not arrive, his contract expired on 30 June, talks paused until safety was clinched on the final day, then he renewed on 11 June for one year plus an option after seeking facility upgrades, club structure and financial guarantees. At 40, he is now one of Ligue 1’s two stalwarts.
