Having not played a single match since the start of the 2025-2026 season, Guéla Doué has just made his first appearance in the Strasbourg squad.

The 22-year-old right-back has been called up by Liam Rosenior for the away clash against Paris FC on Sunday, September 21 at 13:00 GMT, as part of the fifth round of Ligue 1.

The Ivorian international (5 caps, 1 goal) has recovered from an injury that had sidelined him since the off-season. He trained with the squad during the last two training sessions.

The former Rennes player featured in 34 matches last season, scoring once and providing two assists.

He needs to string together strong performances with his Alsatian club if he wants to secure a spot in Emerse Faé's squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
