According to L'Équipe, Lille and Monaco have identified Algerian winger Farès Ghedjemis as a target, with interest also building elsewhere in Europe.
The 23-year-old was named Serie B’s best player after 15 goals and 3 assists for Frosinone, and is currently at the World Cup with Algeria. He is without doubt set for a transfer that will give his career another dimension.
A return to France this summer is possible. Lille have had the left-footed wide forward on their shortlist for weeks, while Monaco are seeking cover for the more than likely departure of Maghnes Akliouche.
The Algeria international matches Monaco’s brief, a technical and incisive player who runs at defenders.
A deal is estimated at €10m to €15m to convince Frosinone to sell, and he is under contract until June 2028.
Competition is set to be fierce, with Juventus and Napoli among those who admire Ghedjemis.
