Lille close to signing Basar Önal from NEC Nijmegen | OneFootball

Lille are close to signing Basar Önal from NEC Nijmegen, the 22-year-old Türkiye Under-21 international winger. According to L'Équipe, a deal worth around nine point five million euros plus potential add-ons is nearing agreement.

Önal remains under contract in Nijmegen until 2028. A right-footed winger, he has more often been used on the left.

He scored seven goals and provided eight assists in the Eredivisie last season, helping NEC to third place.

NEC signed him from De Graafschap for one million euros in the summer of 2024.

Lille earlier on Monday announced the signing of young Swiss full-back Loun Srdanovic, as they step up their transfer business.
