Lille predicted XI v AS Roma: Alexsandro remains sidelined, Olivier Giroud to start | OneFootball

There are no fresh injury concerns for Lille OSC to contend with as they head to the Italian capital to face AS Roma in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.

The major absence remains Alexsandro, who was injured in the first game after the international break. The defender returned from a gruelling international break with Brazil, during which he played at high altitude in South America. Bruno Genesio admitted that it would be a risk to play Alexsandro and so it proved; he has not played since.

Up front, it is expected to be Olivier Giroud, rather than Hamza Igamane, who leads the line in Italy. L’Équipe understands that Hakon Arnar Haraldsson may also drop to the bench for the Europa League encounter.
