Last night, Lionel Messi once again dazzled for Inter Miami. The Argentine netted a hat-trick against Nashville.

Lionel Messi capped off the MLS regular season in spectacular fashion by scoring a hat-trick in Inter Miami’s 5-2 victory over Nashville. The Argentine clinched the league’s Golden Boot with 29 goals in 28 matches, finishing ahead of Denis Bouanga and Sam Surridge, who each scored 24. Messi’s brilliance propelled his club to third place in the Eastern Conference, securing their ticket to the play-offs.

With two superb goals from open play and a penalty, Messi once again showcased his immense talent—something that left his coach and compatriot Javier Mascherano truly impressed. “What more can I say about Leo? He was exceptional today (Saturday), as always. He’ll surely be named MVP after what he’s shown,” he said after the match.

Inter Miami will once again face Nashville in the first round of the play-offs, with a best-of-three series kicking off from October 24.
