A prestigious showdown set for London in November
Senegal 4-2 Brazil / 2023
Senegal could face Brazil in London for a friendly match on November 14 or 15, 2025. This encounter will serve as crucial preparation for the Lions of Teranga ahead of AFCON 2025, while giving the Seleção a chance to seek revenge.
Rumors have been swirling for several days. According to local media, the staging of this clash depends on the results of the Lions of Teranga in the final two rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Lions of Teranga currently top Group B in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
With a two-point lead over DR Congo, they will need to confirm their dominance against South Sudan in Juba on October 10, followed by Mauritania in Diamniadio four days later. If they secure direct qualification, the Senegalese Football Federation will be able to officially announce the friendly against Brazil.
The match would be played at the Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal, during the November international break. A provisional agreement has reportedly already been reached between the two federations, provided Senegal does not have to play in the playoffs.
