Antoine Semenyo has a release clause in his contract at Bournemouth, though the Cherries are keen to keep the details in-house.
Semenyo has started the season in blistering form, scoring six times and providing three assists in seven Premier League appearances.
The 25-year-old’s performances have attracted interest from Premier League rivals, with Liverpool and Manchester United among those most prominently linked.
Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited as admirers of Semenyo, who helped Ghana secure World Cup qualification this month.
Bournemouth fended off interest from rival clubs in the summer, persuading Semenyo to sign a new deal. It was a welcome boost for the Cherries, who lost Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, Illia Zabaryni and Dango Ouattara for large fees.
However, talkSPORT have revealed that the deal contains an unspecified release clause. Bournemouth want to keep the details of the release clause ‘under wraps’ in their bid to retain the winger for as long as possible.
Liverpool are understood to be the ‘most likely destination’ with the Reds interested in adding another wide player to their squad.
Arne Slot’s side sold Luis Diaz in the summer without bringing in a direct replacement for the Colombian.
