In a recent report, The Sun claimed that Liverpool are among the clubs hoping to land Bournemouth winger Rayan. It has been stated that the Reds are facing stiff competition from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal in the race to land the Brazilian wide player this summer.

Rayan’s Impressive Rise In The Premier League

Rayan enjoyed a good run of form at the English club in the previous campaign when he put in a string of impressive displays for them in the final third. The Brazilian talent was involved in 16 matches for the Cherries last season, scoring seven times and earning two assists in all competitions.

The 19-year-old is currently among the most gifted wide players in the Premier League. Hence, it is no wonder that the Reds are in the running to sign him this off-season.

His current deal at Bournemouth will expire in the summer of 2031, which could make it tough for Liverpool to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Will Rayan Be A Good Choice For Liverpool Boss Andoni Iraola?

Rayan has the pace to cause a lot of problems for his marker out on the flanks. He has the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The Brazilian sensation can even contribute by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team. Rayan mainly plays as a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player or a centre-forward if needed. He has some experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the Merseyside club.

Furthermore, Andoni Iraola knows the player well from his time at Bournemouth and could be the ideal man to oversee his development over the next few years. Rayan would add more pace and goals to Liverpool’s frontline. He might even serve as a good, long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who left the Merseyside outfit earlier this summer.

At 19, the future looks quite bright for Rayan. He would be a great choice for the Reds to consider for the long run. Thus, Iraola would be wise to go all out to sign him, but only if he can do so for a fair price in this transfer period.
