Liverpool reportedly have £33m worth of deals just waiting for the green light from sporting director Richard Hughes.

Liverpool are straight into the transfer market for 2026 and they've already made some difficult decisions. Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson will both depart on free transfers - and now we know they won't be alone in that.

Ibrahima Konate will also leave the club with the end of his contract this summer. The club couldn't find an agreement with their starting centre-back and he'll move on.

That does, admittedly, feel like a complete disaster. But it may not be the only quick exit ahead of the World Cup.

The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool have been told by Juventus that they're willing to pay £13m for Alisson Becker. Similarly, Inter are happy to pay £20m for Curtis Jones.

Both players have been heavily linked with exits this summer as they have one year left on their respective contracts. Liverpool only really need Richard Hughes to sign off on these before banking the money.

However, it's not entirely clear what the plan is with either. Alisson remains one of the world's best goalkeepers and Jones is worth far more than £20m in this market.

Getting £33m for the pair would be poor business, you'd have to say. Though, significantly better than losing Konate for nothing.

Alisson Becker: Situation Summary

Campaign Finale and Stats

As of 29 May 2026, Alisson Becker has successfully returned to action for Liverpool. After being sidelined with a hamstring injury since mid-March—which forced him to miss the Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain—the 33-year-old goalkeeper started and played the full 90 minutes in Sunday's final-day 1–1 draw against Brentford at Anfield. The appearance took his season total to 35 matches across all competitions, having registered 13 clean sheets during a fragmented, injury-hit campaign.

Transfer Block and Anfield Future

Despite intense speculation linking Alisson with a summer move to Juventus, his future has been firmly resolved. Fabrizio Romano confirmed today that Liverpool have formally told Alisson they want him to stay and continue at the club next season. Following the confirmed departure of Ibrahima Konate on a free transfer, FSG are determined not to lose another experienced leader this summer.
