Salah has seven Premier League games to complete a feat achieved by three other players
Mohamed Salah can still join an illustrious Premier League club before calling time on his Liverpool career.
The 33-year-old announced on Tuesday that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season after nearly a decade at the club, which has yielded numerous trophies and individual accolades.
Salah won the Premier League twice, as well as the Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup during his time at Anfield.
With the Reds still competing in the Champions League and FA Cup, the Egypt international could yet bring down the curtain on his successful spell on Merseyside with two more titles.
While this season has been a struggle for Salah, particularly in front of goal, he will leave Liverpool as their third highest goalscorer behind Ian Rush (346) and Roger Hunt (285).
Of Salah’s 255 goals in 435 appearances to date for the Reds, 189 have been scored in the Premier League which has helped him to win the Golden Boot award on four sepearate occasions.
Amid reports Salah is extremely unlikely to stay in England once he officially bids farewell to Liverpool FC, he has seven games to make further history by becoming only the fourth player to score 200 Premier League goals.

As mentioned above, Salah has scored 191 Premier League goals to date. 189 for Liverpool and two in Chelsea colours. This puts him fourth in the all-time scorers list behind Wayne Rooney (208), Harry Kane (213) and Alan Shearer (260).
Therefore, he requires nine goals in seven appearances to join this illustrious Premier League club.
Of course, Salah is currently sidelined with a knock sustained in the 4-0 win over Galatasaray last week but is expected to be available for Liverpool’s next league game against Fulham on April 11.
As a Liverpool player, Salah has never failed to reach double figures for goals in the Premier League. If he maintains this impressive record then bringing up 200 goals in the competition is almost guaranteed.
However, he has only scored five league goals so far this season, including one in his last 14 appearances.
