Toni Kroos’ departure from Real Madrid began a cascade of effects across the field and it is clear that his absence is the root cause of so many of Los Blancos’ problems.
The biggest effect, needless to say, has been on the midfield where the men in white have looked absolutely out of sorts. After all, they no longer have a ball-playing midfielder and fingers are being pointed at all the existing names in the ensuing blame game.
Aurelien Tchouameni has been the worst affected of them all as the Frenchman is now being considered to be operating at a level much lower than initially expected. In fact, he was even booed on the field in the team’s latest game against AC Milan.
Tchouameni’s departure now seems more possible than ever before and the club is reportedly willing to part ways with the player, unlike their stance even in the summer.

Fichajes now reports that Liverpool have their eyes on the defensive midfielder as Arne Slot sees the Frenchman as a profile tailor-made for the Premier League and his team in particular.
The Merseyside giants, in fact, are already preparing an initial offer of €60 million for the youngster and are serious about their interest in bringing him to Anfield. Real Madrid, however, are not convinced by the sum.
The Merengues are clear that they will sell the player only if an offer equal to their valuation of the player comes in and they are looking to recoup as much of the initial investment they placed for the player as possible.
It thus remains to be seen if Liverpool and Real Madrid can reach an agreement in the coming weeks over a price that suits both parties. After all, it is a win-win situation not only for both clubs but also for Tchouameni.
