Regarded as one of the top talents in La Liga, Nico Williams has now caught the eye of Liverpool, according to reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes.

The 23-year-old Spanish winger, a product of Athletic Club’s academy, broke into the first team in 2021 and has only continued to showcase his immense potential. Last summer, he was on the verge of joining FC Barcelona before extending his contract with the Basque side until 2035.

Despite signing a new deal, transfer rumors continue to swirl. After Bayern Munich’s interest in September, Liverpool are now preparing to make their move with a bid estimated at €75 million, although his release clause is around €90 million.
