Liverpool are not looking to replace Arne Slot yet with the Dutch coach retaining 'full confidence' from the club's hierarchy according to reports.
Despite being the defending Premier League champions, Liverpool have been on a rotten run of form in recent weeks with 10 defeats from 13 games in all competitions.
Last night's 4-1 loss at home to PSV in the Champions League increased pressure on Slot with speculation that the club could make a managerial change. However, according to journalists Andy Jones and Gregg Evans of The Athletic, management at the Merseyside club is not ready to sack Slot yet.
Reasons behind the club's poor form seem to be varied. New signings like Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak have yet to show their best form while senior stars who have been vital to Liverpool's success in recent years like Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are far from their best. Then of course, the tragic death of Diogo Jota during the summer still looms over the club.
Liverpool will be hoping that they can turn their form around soon though and with two of their next three league fixtures away to 17th-placed West Ham United and 18th-placed Leeds United, better results are expected.
