Liverpool have a midfielder who is well-liked among the fans finally returning from injury.
Through the season, Arne Slot has had to deal with constant injuries.
But there are some key returning squad players on their way back during a testing finally stretch of the campaign. This is the period of the season when things get really hectic.
There's no room for slip-ups and with so many games coming thick and fas, so this is a time when you want to have a big squad to be able to rotate and have multiple options.
The midfield is probably the area where Liverpool have the most depth.
Although with Wataru Endo's injury, there is room for the Reds to have more options. Trey Nyoni has emerged as a genuine candidate for a rotational role.
But there's another very talented midfielder who is on his way back and ready to play more minutes.
James McConnell didn't have much luck at Ajax Amsterdam while on loan with the Eredivisie side earlier this season.
McConnell moved to the Eredivisie alongside Arne Slot’s title-winning assistant John Heitinga - who took the job as Ajax’s head coach.
His tenure lasted only 15 matches however before he was sacked - plunging McConnell’s future into doubt.
An injury then complicated matters further, with the midfielder returning to the AXA Training Centre for treatment and then finally being recalled.
During the rare games he has played at Ajax, McConnell always did catch the eye but he was never really trusted to play regularly.
Now he's been recovering from his injury ever since returning to Anfield and there's finally some good news.
